Health Economics Training on Orphan Diseases was Held at Acıbadem University.

Within the scope of İSTisNA project training activities supported by Istanbul Development Agency and carried out in partnership with Acıbadem University and Istanbul University, Health Economics Training on Rare Diseases was held on October 27, 2023 at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University. The training program started with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Özden Hatırnaz Ng and continued with the basics of health economics by Dr. Birol Tibet and Dr. Güvenç Koçkaya. The training was concluded by comparing health systems and policies between countries, discussing the importance of rare diseases in terms of health management economics and sharing potential solutions for the future. The training, which proceeded in the form of interactive participation and question-answer, was both enjoyable and informative.
